Sustainability at Wrenby's

wrenbys 3 peaks

At Wrenby's, sustainability isn’t a feature—it’s the foundation. Guided by our belief in timeless design and responsible production, we’re building a future where fashion stands for something more. Inspired by our brand’s philosophy to Be Iconic, we commit to creating garments that endure—ethically, aesthetically, and environmentally.

Our Commitments

No Virgin or Recycled Petroleum-Based Fabrics

You won’t find polyester, nylon, acrylic, or any fossil fuel–derived fabric—recycled or not—in any Wrenby's piece. Why? Because the world doesn’t need more plastic—especially in clothing. We only work with natural, renewable, biodegradable materials that leave a lighter footprint and feel better against your skin.

Slow Fashion by Design

We reject the churn of seasonal trends and overproduction. Instead of chasing fleeting fashion cycles, we design intentionally—with style that endures and pieces that transcend seasonality.

  • No overproduction: We craft in small batches only.

  • No waste: We make pieces to be loved—and sold—until the very last one is gone.

  • No fast fashion calendar: We don’t launch new collections every season. We launch when it matters.

This slower approach is our answer to a faster world.

Wear More. Waste Less.

Our clothes are made to live with you, not just sit in your closet. They’re:

  • Versatile enough for repeat wears.

  • Durable enough to last for years.

  • Effortlessly iconic, never trendy.

By choosing Wrenby's, you’re investing in clothing that celebrates quality over quantity, and style over excess.

Materials That Matter

We partner with certified mills and responsible suppliers to ensure every Wrenby's piece is made from natural and low-impact fibres. No microfibres. No microplastics. No greenwashing.:

  • Natural fabrics
    • We choose natural fabrics for most of our clothing, striving to use organically produced fibres, as much as possible.
  • Man-made fabrics
    • We choose synthetic fabrics such as Lyocell, in our activewear products, for their biodegradability and low environmental impact production.
  • Ethically produced and sourced materials
    • We ensure our products are ethically sourced and produced. We check for industry standard certifications from our suppliers, such as Oeko-Tex, Fair-Wear, GOTS and other.
  • Packaging made from recycled paper
    • We choose packaging material that is manufactured locally (in the UK) from recycled paper.

Ethical & Fair Production Partners

We select our manufacturing partners for their safe production setup, ethical processes & practices and fair treatment of their staff.

T-shirts, Hoodies, Beanies, Sweatshirts

We source our organic and 100% cotton tops and hats from our suppliers Stanley/Stella who are renowned for their ethical practices (certifications and memberships).

Graphic Tees

We produce all printed t-shirts, in-house in London, using blanks sourced from our suppliers Stanley/Stella.

Linen Clothes

We produce our linen clothing in India, with the help of micro manufacturing units in Mumbai, selecting partners who offer fair living wages and safety standards to their staff. Unlike larger factories, micro manufacturing provides employment opportunities to local workers in big cities.

Our linen fabric is produced by Jayashree-Grasim in India. Here's a link to their certifications and memberships.

Our Philosophy: Be Iconic

We believe fashion must be conscience-driven—because true style doesn’t come at the expense of the planet and the people who produce them. Every garment we make or source reflects our values of responsibility, sustainability, and integrity.

To be iconic, for us, is to -

  • make choices that match our values, so that

  • our customers can confidently choose fashion that is ethical and sustainable.

We’re not perfect, but we’re clear on our purpose: less harm, more meaning.

Our Sustainability & Conservation Partners

Outside of fashion, we are keen supporters of sustainability and conservation efforts by notable organisations. We encourage you to follow and support their work.
